    Jonathan Carkhuff '14 completed 35 of 61 pass attempts for 297 yards and 3 touchdowns, including a 41-yarder to Tim Hines '15 with 47 seconds left to lead Davidson to a 28-24 come-from-behind victory against Morehead State on Saturday. The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Wildcats and marked their first league win of the season.

  • Turnovers doom Football as ’Cats fall in 17-7 loss to Butler

      In their sixth league contest of the season, the Davidson Wildcats (2-7, 0-6) traveled to Indianapolis to face the Butler Bulldogs. Despite tallying 379 yards of total offense and 26 first downs, the Wildcats were only able to score once, falling to the Bulldogs 17-7.

Football gets clipped by Hoyas, 40-16

Davidson football kicked off the season last Saturday with a road matchup at Georgetown. The Wildcats went into the contest looking to avenge a 20-10 loss to the Hoyas in last season's opener, and they were hoping a new-look offense might do the trick.
